Numbers 22:23 And the ass saw the angel of Yahveh standing in the way, and his sword drawn in his hand: and the ass turned aside out of the way, and went into the field: and Balaam beat the ass, to turn her into the way.

 


 

Numbers 22:24 But the angel of Yahveh stood in a path of the vineyards, a wall being on this side, and a wall on that side.

 

Numbers 22:25 And when the ass saw the angel of Yahveh, she thrust herself unto the wall, and crushed Balaam's foot against the wall: and he beat her again.

 

Numbers 22:26 And the angel of Yahveh went further, and stood in a narrow place, where was no way to turn either to the right hand or to the left.

Numbers 22:29 And Balaam said unto the ass, Because you have mocked me: I would there were a sword in my hand, for now would I kill you.

 

Numbers 22:30 And the ass said unto Balaam, Am not I your ass, upon which you have ridden ever since I was yours unto this day? have I ever not  done so unto you? And he said, Nay.

 

Numbers 22:31 Then Yahveh opened the eyes of Balaam, and he saw the angel of Yahveh standing in the way, and his sword drawn in his hand: and he bowed down his head, and fell flat on his face.

 

Numbers 22:32 And the angel of Yahveh said unto him, Wherefore have you beaten your ass these three times? behold, I went out to withstand you, because your way is perverse before Me:

 

Numbers 22:33 And the ass saw Me, and turned from Me these three times: unless she had turned from Me, surely now also I had slain you, and saved her alive.

 

Numbers 22:34 And Balaam said unto the angel of Yahveh, I have sinned; for I knew not that you stood in the way against me: now therefore, if it displease you, I will get me back again

 

Numbers 22:35 And the angel of Yahveh said unto Balaam, Go with the men: but only the word that I shall speak unto you, that you shall speak. So Balaam went with the princes of Balak.

1 Kings 19:4  But he himself went a day's journey into the wilderness, and came and sat down under a juniper tree: and he requested for himself that he might die; and said, It is enough; now, O Yahveh, take away my life; for I am not better than my fathers.

 

1 Kings 19:5 And as he lay and slept under a juniper tree, behold, then an angel touched him, and said unto him, Arise and eat.

2 Kings 1:2 And Ahaziah fell down through a lattice in his upper chamber that was in Samaria, and was sick: and he sent messengers, and said unto them, Go, enquire of Baalzebub the god of Ekron whether I shall recover of this disease.

2 Kings 1:3  But the angel of Yahveh said to Elijah the Tishbite, Arise, go up to meet the messengers of the king of Samaria, and say unto them, Is it not because there is not a Elohiym in Israel, that you go to enquire of Baalzebub the god of Ekron?

2 Kings 1:6  And they said unto him, There came a man up to meet us, and said unto us, Go, turn again unto the king that sent you, and say unto him, This said Yahveh, Is it not because there is not a God in Israel, that you send to enquire of Baalzebub the god of Ekron? therefore you shall not come down from that bed on which you are gone up, but shall surely die.

2 Kings 1:9 Then the king sent unto him a captain of fifty with his fifty. And he went up to him: and, behold, he sat on the top of an hill. And he spoke unto him, You man of Elohiym, the king has said, Come down.

 

2 Kings 1:10 And Elijah answered and said to the captain of fifty, If I be a man of Elohiym, then let fire come down from heaven, and consume you and your fifty. And there came down fire from heaven, and consumed him and his fifty.

 

2 Kings 1:11 Again also he sent unto him another captain of fifty with his fifty. And he answered and said unto him, O man of Elohiym, this has the king said, Come down quickly.

2 Kings 1:12 And Elijah answered and said unto them, If I be a man of Elohiym, let fire come down from heaven, and consume you and your fifty. And the fire of Yahveh came down from heaven, and consumed him and his fifty.

 


 

2 Kings 1:13 And he sent again a captain of the third fifty with his fifty. And the third captain of fifty went up, and came and fell on his knees before Elijah, and besought him, and said unto him, O man of Elohiym, I pray you, let my life, and the life of these fifty thy servants, be precious in your sight.

 

2 Kings 1:14 Behold, there came fire down from heaven, and burnt up the two captains of the former fifties with their fifties: therefore let my life now be precious in your sight.

 

2 Kings 1:15 And the angel of Yahveh said unto Elijah, Go down with him: be not afraid of him. And he arose, and went down with him unto the king.

 

2 Kings 1:16 And he said unto him, This said Yahveh, Forasmuch as you have sent messengers to enquire of Baalzebub the god of Ekron, is it not because there is no Elohiym in Israel to enquire of His Word? therefore you shall not come down off that bed on which you are gone up, but shall surely die.

 

2 Kings 1:17 So he died according to the word of Yahveh which Elijah had spoken. And Jehoram reigned in his stead in the second year of Jehoram the son of Jehoshaphat king of Judah; because he had no son.

 

 

 2 Kings 19:32 Therefore this said Yahveh concerning the king of Assyria, He shall not come into this city, nor shoot an arrow there, nor come before it with shield, nor cast a bank against it.

 

2 Kings 19:33 By the way that he came, by the same shall he return, and shall not come into this city, said Yahveh.

 

2 Kings 19:34 For I will defend this city, to save it, for mine own sake, and for my servant David's sake.

 

 Kings 19:35 And it came to pass that night, that the angel of Yahveh went out, and smote in the camp of the Assyrians an hundred fourscore and five thousand: and when they arose early in the morning, behold, they were all dead corpses.

 

2 Kings 19:36 So Sennacherib king of Assyria departed, and went and returned, and dwelt at Nineveh.

 2 Kings 19:37 And it came to pass, as he was worshipping in the house of Nisroch his god, that Adrammelech and Sharezer his sons smote him with the sword: and they escaped into the land of Armenia. And Esarhaddon his son reigned in his stead.

Psalm 34:7 The angel of Yahveh encamps round about them that fear Him, and delivers them.
