Traditions of Men


 Matthew 15:1 Then came to Yashua scribes and Pharisees, which were of Jerusalem, saying,

 

Matthew 15:2 Why do your disciples transgress the tradition of the elders? for they wash not their hands when they eat bread.

4245 presbu,teroj presbuteros {pres-boo'-ter-os}  $ elder , old man , eldest , elder woman , elder, of age,  the elder of two people  advanced in life, an  elder, a senior  forefathers  a term of rank or office  among  the Jews , members of the great council or Sanhedrin (because in  early times the rulers of the people, judges, etc., were selected from  elderly men)  of those who in separate cities managed public  affairs and administered justice among the Christians, those who  presided over the assemblies (or churches) The NT uses the term  bishop, elders, and presbyters interchangeably  the twenty four  members of the heavenly Sanhedrin or court seated on thrones  around the throne of God

Matthew 15:3 But Yashua answered and said unto them, Why do you also transgress the commandment of God by your tradition?

Matthew 15:4 For Yahveh commanded, saying, Honor your father and mother: and, He that curse father or mother, let him die the death.

Matthew 15:5 But you say, Whosoever shall say to his father or his mother, It is a gift, by whatsoever you might be profited by me;

 

Matthew 15:6 And honor not his father or his mother, he shall be free. This have you made the commandment of God of none effect by your tradition.

Matthew 15:9 But in vain they do worship Me, teaching for doctrines the commandments of men.

Matthew 15:10 And Yashua called the multitude, and said unto them, Hear, and understand:

Matthew 15:13 But Yashua answered and said, Every plant, which My Heavenly Father has not planted, shall be rooted up.

 

Matthew 15:14 Let them alone: they be blind leaders of the blind. And if the blind lead the blind, both shall fall into the ditch.

 

Matthew 15:15 Then answered Peter and said unto Yashua, Declare unto us this parable.

 

Matthew 15:16 And Yashua said, Are you also yet without understanding?

 

Matthew 15:17 Do not you yet understand, that whatsoever enters in at the mouth goes into the belly, and is cast out into the draught?

 

Matthew 15:18 But those things which proceed out of the mouth come forth from the heart; and they defile the man.

 

Matthew 15:19 For out of the heart proceed evil thoughts, murders, adulteries, fornications, thefts, false witness, blasphemies:

 

Matthew 15:20 These are the things which defile a man: but to eat with unwashed hands defile not a man.

 

 

Mark 7:1 Then came together unto Yashua the Pharisees, and certain of the scribes, which came from Jerusalem.

 

Mark 7:2 And when they saw some of Yashua=s disciples eat bread with defiled, that is to say, with unwashed, hands, they found fault.

 


 

 Mark 7:3 For the Pharisees, and all the Jews, except they wash their hands often, eat not, holding the tradition of the elders.

 

Mark 7:4 And when they come from the market, except they wash, they eat not. And many other things there be, which they have received to hold, as the washing of cups, and pots, brasen vessels, and of tables

 

.Mark 7:5 Then the Pharisees and scribes asked Yashua, Why walk not your disciples according to the tradition of the elders, but eat bread with unwashed hands?    (Why,,)no traditions??????     Yashua Never did traditions to please.

 

 Mark 7:6 Yashua answered and said unto them, Well has Esaias prophesied of you hypocrites, as it is written, This people honors Me with their lips, but their heart is far from Me.

 

Mark 7:7 Howbeit in vain do they worship Me, teaching for doctrines the commandments of men.

 

Mark 7:8 For laying aside the commandment of God, you hold the tradition of men, as the washing of pots and cups: and many other such like things you do.

 

Mark 7:9 Yashua said unto them, Full well you reject the commandment of God, that you may keep your own tradition.

 

Colossians 2:8 Beware lest any man spoil you through philosophy and vain deceit, after the tradition of men, after the rudiments of the world, and not after Mashiach.

 

Colossians 2:9 For in Yashua dwells all the fullness of the Godhead bodily

 

Colossians 2:10 And you are complete in Yashua, which is the head of all principality and power:

 

Colossians 2:11 In whom also you are circumcised with the circumcision made without hands, in putting off the body of the sins of the flesh by the circumcision of Mashiach:

Colossians 2:12 Buried with Yashua in baptism, wherein also you are risen with Yashua through the faith of the operation of Yahveh, who has raised  Yashua from the dead.

Colossians 2:13 And you, being dead in your sins and the uncircumcision of your flesh, has Yahveh quickened together with Yashua, having forgiven you all trespasses;

John 1:14 And the Word was made flesh,(Yashua) and dwelt among us, (and we beheld His glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth.

 

Paul states of himself of his walk that was not in order.

 

Galatians 1:13 For you have heard of my conversation in time past in the Jews' religion, how that beyond measure I persecuted the church of God, and wasted it:
